The Brief
Hawksight is a Defi super-app for everyone. It is a platform that provides the easiest way to earn yield from popular DeFi protocols on Solana. The mission: help design the Dashboard tab of the Portfolio page, with the goal of providing a personalized experience for each customer to help increase revenue through higher customer engagement and more regular deposits.
The Solution
Our team designed a dashboard that encourages higher customer engagement and more frequent deposits by ensuring peace-of-mind through a secure, tailored web experience.
Problem Statement
How might we help users feel safe when investing their crypto money?
How might we provide users with relevant information about their investments?
How might we better recommend strategies to users that are best suited to their risk profile?
Usability Evaluation
In order to create an iterated dashboard design solution addressing the problem statements, we conducted a usability testing on a mid-fidelity prototype. We received feedback from crypto natives who have been actively investing either traditional or crypto for the past year. From this we learned how we can deliver more value to them through the dashboard. Firstly, the information that are relevant to strategies they currently have an investment in and their transaction history must be within reach. Second, having visibility on strategies to watch out for and might be relevant to their current investing behavior reduces the amount of research done before investing. Lastly, they would like to be able to personalize the dashboard themselves.
Design Solutions
Considering the insights that we have gathered from their feedback and the goals and pain points of our user persona, we designed a dashboard that provide optics on their portfolio growth, recommending safe avenues to grow their money and grow with others in the community.
Transaction History - improve and increase customer’s trust by promoting transparency
Current Strategies - provide the ability for the users to view their “wallet” at a glance
Recommended Strategies - provide compelling strategy information for each recommended strategy
Watchlist - provide visualization of selected strategies and how their APYs are performing
Referrals - increase high-quality leads to increase user base
